our purpose
SP Cages was created with a clear vision to build batting cages designed with intention, driven by passion, and made for players. Founded by SP Training’s owner, Gabriel Solis, it carries the same athlete-first mindset and commitment to excellence that defines SP Training. Featuring five turf batting cages equipped with pitching machines, every detail from precision-built lanes and realistic ball flight to supportive coaching and player-focused design was crafted to give athletes a space where fundamentals, progress, and performance come together.

Where is SP Cages located?
We’re at 5700 Star Lane in Houston. Plenty of parking available on-site and on the street. Parents can relax in our air-conditioned lounge while their athlete puts in the work!
What are the hours?
Our hours are flexible but generally 9 am to 9 pm Monday-Sunday!
Do I need a group to hit at the Cages?
No, you don’t! If you want to hit balls off a tee you can just come by yourself but if you want soft toss you’ll need to bring a friend, they can even split the cost of the cage with you!
Is there a pitching machine, and do I need to reserve it?
We do have three pitching machines available for use, when you you book just make sure to select “cage rental + hack attack”
Do I need to bring my own balls?
We do have a limited number of ball buckets, we recommend that you bring your own but we do have some available for use!
Do I need a helmet?
For all machine-work you will need a helmet!
Can I bring my hitting coach?
Absolutely! You can bring your hitting coach for a private lesson in one of our state of the art cages!
How do I book?
